This is a large vintage example of the West German Pottery Fat Lava style in the form of a lamp base produced by Karlsruhe Majolika. It is 30cm tall with a light and dark brown glaze.
The base is marked with the Karlsruhe stamp and two stickers alongside the pattern no. of i3 152 on the base.
The item is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, marks or repairs. The lamp has been rewired with a black stranded fabric cable and comes fully PAT (electrical safety) tested.
